Directions:
Reduce congestion; please travel by public transport where possible.
By road: Traffic from the east using the M4, please exit at Junction 11 and follow Festival signs.
Traffic from the west using the M4, please exit at Junction 12 and follow Festival signs. On leaving the site M4 traffic should take A33 to junction 11 of M4.
Parking:
All festival car park passes must be booked in advance and passes are strictly limited. Car parking will be in nearby fields and a shuttle service will run between the Green and White car parks and the festival site. Only cars arriving at the car parks with an official car-parking pass will be allowed to park in the official festival car parks.
We are assigning ticket holders the best car park for their journey and are thereby working to cut traffic going through Reading town centre, Caversham, and down Richfield Avenue to the event itself.
- any vehicles coming from the West/M40 etc should go to Orange car park
- any vehicles coming from the East/London/M1/M25 etc should go to Green car park
- any vehicles coming from North West/Birmingham should go to White car park
- All campervans and caravans will go to white (not red anymore)
- all day ticket holders will go to Green car park

Campervans:
Anyone wanting to bring their campervan to the Festival must pre-register. Please visit www.readingfestival.com for details.
Public Transportation:
Reduce congestion; travel by public transport.
Rail:
Reading station is 40 minutes by train from Paddington or 80 minutes by train from Waterloo. Main station is approximately 15 minutes walk from the site. National Rail enquiries 08457 48 49 50 or visit their website at www.thetrainline.com
Tilehurst station is approximately 25 minutes walk from the site. Thames Trains run from Tilehurst to Oxford, Slough and London Paddington with stops or connections to many other destinations. For bookings call Thames Trains on 08457 300 700 or visit their website at www.thamestrains.co.uk
Pick Up/Drop Off and Coaches:
The pick up and drop off point is at the Rivermead Leisure Centre. This will be signposted by festival signs.
Coach journeys other than those booked as part of the ticket/coach packages can be booked at www.nationalexpress.com, or by calling 08705 80 80 80 (£1.00 booking fee)
Anyone wanting to bring a mini bus or coach to the Festival must write to: Festival Office, 16 Harlesden High Street, London, NW10 4LX prior to the event.
