The Forum

9-17 Highgate Road, Kentish Town, London NW5 1JY

Located in Kentish Town about a mile north of trendy Camden, the Forum is a mid-size venue

with a capacity of around 2300. It’s a venue that’s ideal for bands and acts that are on the

ascent ...... too big for the smaller indie venues but not yet quite big enough to make the step

up to Brixton Academy (capacity 4000+). The Forum, like many venues, started out as a cinema

and retains its original art deco architecture. It was formerly known as the Town and Country

club and is now mostly commonly referred to as the Kentish Town Forum. Of all the London

venues the Forum hosts perhaps the most eclectic and diverse range of performances. The

venue is divided into two floors. Downstairs is unreserved stalls standing, and the upstairs

balcony is mostly seating, again generally unreserved. Please note that you cannot move

between the two floors. The Forum is easily reached by public transport, turn right outside of

Kentish Town Tube station and it’s about 100 yards away. There’s a couple of cool bars

between the station and the venue. Kentish Town over ground station is similarly close by. Get
